Last month networking brightened up the bleakest of months and surprised many with an unexpected theme.
In an attempt to cheer up the dark and short days that take their toll after Christmas, we opted out for a combination of culture and fitness: we went for a walk around Canary Wharf and enjoyed the trail of glowing artworks and installations of the Winter Lights Festival. We immersed in the colourful, multisensory lights and admired the Floating Earth in the water of Middle Dock.
We enjoyed conversations and took a lot of photos. Some of the attendees chose to enter the competition for the best photo of the walk and we are pleased to announce that there are two winners: Ewa Karaszkiewicz and Ewa Jasinska-Dawidson. Congratulations!
After the walk, we warmed up in a local pub. Mulled wine was in order and it was a wonderful extension of the Christmas Season. After this evening we were ready to start looking forward to spring!
